
Aubree Sutton (bottom left) is 9 years old and lives in Florence. She was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma, which is a cancerous brain tumor, at the age of 7. She is a current patient at St Jude, getting treatment every other week. She attends Florence Elementary.
Sydney (top left) is 17 years old. She has been a patient of St. Jude since she was 3 years old. At 5 months old, Sydney was diagnosed with a brain tumor. She received 18 months of chemotherapy treatment from the ages of 3 to 5 years old. She has been off of chemotherapy treatment since 2010. Her tumor is significantly smaller, however, Sydney’s tumor is not operable, so she still goes to St. Jude once a year for checkups and an MRI. Her tumor is still stable, which means it isn’t growing. This is always the report they want to hear until that day when she can be cancer free!!!
Koby Walker (top right) is 18 years old and is a senior at Simpson Academy. He was diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder, I-cell, when he was 12 months old. There is no cure for this disorder. The only treatment is a bone marrow transplant, which slows down the progression. Koby underwent the transplant at St Jude hospital when he was 15 months old. His sister Anna Claire was his donor.
Ace Evans (bottom right) is 11 years old and a attends Simpson Academy. He was diagnosed with Metastatic Spitzoid Melanoma of Malignancy in September of 2018 at the age of 6. He has undergone 3 surgical procedures to excise the melanoma since then with success from his doctors at both St. Jude and LeBonheur Children’s Hospital.
